Have you ever wondered what it is to learn a new language as a kid? Their process is fun, dynamic and most of the times guessing what adults 'really meant' to then quickly learn and adapt to get their message through: simply said, to communicate. Theater is a fascinating tool for this as it allows adults to walk in the shoes of a child while learning a new language. Through the communicative approach and theater, the class is designed as a dynamic practical lesson, where students learn new vocabulary, specific sounds of the language, sentences i.e. through movements, repetition of sounds, games, dialogues and play roles among others.

Topic of the week: El verbo tener - to have! Use of the verb Tener in Spanish- (expressions : Tengo 10 años - I am 10years old; tengo calor - I am hot) With gestures, sounds, movements, caracter role plays i.e. learning a new language becomes a terrain of practice and fun. Through repetition but also through the awakening of different senses ( visual, audition, movement) the learning process of a language is more dynamic and allows students to better memorise words, linguistic structures, or get acquainted with the musicality of the language. Furthermore, it gives students confidence in using the language as well as practicing the language in different contextual situations. Overall, it prepares one for the use of the language in real life situations. Minimum of 2 students
