Opis lekcji

Have you ever wished you could speak the language when traveling in Japan? If so, this is the course for you. We will not focus on grammar and Japanese characters (Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji) and just have fun practicing spoken Japanese words and phrases for traveling in Japan! No advance knowledge of the language required as all the materials will be written in English alphabet and be explained in English.

You will learn useful phrases in Japanese for traveling in Japan. Each lesson we will focus on a different situation and scenario. You will get to practice pronunciation with a native Japanese teacher and together with other participants. All lesson materials will be provided.

Experienced Japanese teacher with cultural insight and advanced English skill.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from all over the world. I spent nearly 3 years teaching at the largest Japanese language school in Singapore, where I led classes from beginner to advanced levels, including group lessons, one-on-one sessions, and JLPT preparation courses for N5 and N4. My teaching approach is based on the Direct Method (teaching Japanese in Japanese), which is challenging but highly effective, but I am also fluent in English so you don’t need to worry about any language barriers. In addition to my school experience, I’ve been teaching private lessons—both online and offline—for over a decade. On iTalki since 2020.
