I’ve been having classes with Marta for over a year now and can’t recommend her enough. I’ve had many Spanish teachers over the years and almost never leave reviews, but Marta is genuinely exceptional. She’s very personable and easy to talk to, so the classes always feel natural and enjoyable, but I’ve also learned a huge amount from her. Josue is an exceptional Spanish teacher. During each of of our classes, I have found him to be thoughtful, attentive, and he also has a great sense of when to correct me or introduce a new concept without interrupting the natural flow of conversation. I especially appreciate how organized he is. During each lesson, he keeps track of the grammar, vocabulary, and concepts we cover, then spends the last few minutes reviewing them with me. It’s a simple approach, but it makes a big difference in helping me retain what I’ve learned during each session. Josue is also genuinely kind and easy to talk to. I never feel intimidated or self-conscious about making mistakes. Instead, his encouragement motivates me to keep improving and reminds me why I’m learning Spanish in the first place: to communicate with others and better understand the culture.

It’s not like school, you get to choose the teacher whom you will start your learning journey with, but the decision is hard with all the good teachers around this app! When I chose to start my 1st lesson with Yuen, I did not know what to expect, but oh well, it was a perfect choice! She is knowledgeable, talented flexible and fun! Her teaching skills and perfect communication is what every Spanish learner would need. It started as a hobby and know I’m dedicated to learning Spanish, thanks to Yuen!

She is a very cheerful and engaging teacher. During the trial lesson, she assesses your current level of fluency and works with you to create a plan for your learning. Most classes include role-playing exercises that push you to speak, think in Spanish, and build confidence using the language. You are going to talk A LOT in her class! What I appreciate most is how structured the lessons are: each class builds on the previous one, so the exercises never feel random or disconnected. The activities can challenge you and push you outside your comfort zone, but her personality and demeanor make it easy to relax, take risks, and not be afraid of making mistakes. Jarenny is my favorite spanish teacher I have ever had. As someone who has been stuck for a while at the same level, I feel like Jarenny is leveling up my fluency and getting me over the hump of translating what I know into what I can say. She extremely engaging and patient and makes every lesson feel comfortable and fun. The time flies!

Just had an excellent lesson with Juliana on the subjunctive. Excellent materials including a video, and lovely exercises including being interviewed while playing the part of a wolf in a fairy tale world. Brilliant.
