In this episode of our Chinese character culture podcast, we explore the core character of "mù" (eye) and its fascinating evolution. We start with the character "zhí", which was originally eye plus the character for ten! 今天想和大家分享一些【社交媒体】相关的词。
国外社交媒体平台有:Facebook（脸书）、Instagram（ins）、Twitter（推特）等等。中国用得最多的社交软件有微信（wechat）、微博（MicroBlog）、抖音（Tik-tok）等等。
我们先来看看跟微信有关的词。在中国，几乎每个人都有微信。微信可以用来发信息，发语音（信息），打语音电话，打视频电话。除了一对一聊天，还有很多微信群，家人群，朋友群，工作群。我们还可以用微信来付款，转账，发红包。付款的时候可以你扫商家的二维码，或者商家扫你的付款码。所以买东西的时候经常会听到这样的话：“我扫你，还是你扫我？”转账的金额可以比较高，每天最高可转账20万元。发红包的金额最高是一个200块，一般用在朋友和家人间。例如我朋友生日的时候，我会给他发一个188.88的红包，因为8在中国是一个幸运的数字。
认识一个新朋友的时候，我们一般会加微信。扫对方的二维码就可以添加好友，对方通过后你们就是微信好友了。你可以根据关系把他分组，例如家人，朋友，同事。如果你不想和一个人再聊天了，可以删他(的)微信，甚至是拉黑他。
微信还有一个功能叫朋友圈。我们可以在朋友圈发文字，图片，视频。你的微信好友可以给你点赞，评论。如果你发的朋友圈只想给一部分人看，那就设置分组可见，只有你选择的组可以看到你发的朋友圈。
微信的功能还有很多，公众号可以看文章，视频号可以看视频，小程序可以快速地使用很多常见的手机软件。点外卖，购物，医院挂号等等都可以通过微信。可以说，我们的生活根本离不开微信了。
