It's been a while since I posted something. Happy 2023! 

I recently watched The Glory and am currently watching My Name on Netflix. They are similar because both of the lead characters are seeking revenge. 

It got me thinking.

Since two wrongs don't make a right, should we always be the bigger person and show mercy?

To forgive and forget?
To forgive but never forget?

Or

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Is there a limit to what we can put up with as humans? What do we do if someone crosses that line?

It was fascinating and I am enjoying My Name so far. I will watch the final episode tonight and post my thoughts after that.

"Simple" English is Not "bad" English

I support your language goal(s) and I am here for anyone who needs my help. I just feel upset when a student tells me that they hate how they sound when they speak. They often only look up to native speakers.

A native speaker is someone who had a head start and you are playing catch-up.

Enjoy the process and know that ALL of us (teachers) are proud of you!

PS; My personal goal is to start learning Japanese this year. The journey is going to be a long one and I hope I will take my own advice when the time comes.
