In this episode of my little Korean diary, I stop by the convenience store (편의점) for lunch and grab a cup ramen and a triangle kimbap. You'll hear the real phrases that come up at checkout — like when the clerk asks "Do you need a bag?" — plus the one question every cup ramen lover needs: "Where's the hot water?" I speak slowly and repeat the key phrases, so beginners can follow along. Listen, repeat after me, and tell me in the comments: what do you usually buy at the convenience store? 😊

케이마미의 짧은 한국어 일기예요. 오늘은 편의점에서 컵라면과 삼각김밥으로 점심을 먹은 이야기예요. 계산할 때 점원이 하는 말("봉투 드릴까요?")과, 컵라면을 살 때 꼭 필요한 말("뜨거운 물은 어디 있어요?")을 배워요. 초급 학습자를 위해 천천히, 또박또박 말하고 핵심 표현은 반복해요!

Llorar a lágrima viva. Llorar a chorros. Llorar la digestión. Llorar el sueño. Llorar ante las puertas y los puertos. Llorar de amabilidad y de amarillo.

Abrir las canillas, las compuertas del llanto. Empaparnos el alma, la camiseta. Inundar las veredas y los paseos, y salvarnos, a nado, de nuestro llanto.

Asistir a los cursos de antropología, llorando. Festejar los cumpleaños familiares, llorando. Atravesar el África, llorando. Llorar como un cacuy, como un cocodrilo… si es verdad que los cacuyes y los cocodrilos no dejan nunca de llorar.

Llorarlo todo, pero llorarlo bien. Llorarlo con la nariz, con las rodillas. Llorarlo por el ombligo, por la boca.
