I feel Christmas and New Year's holiday in Japan and north America is opposite. In Japan, Christmas is more like party time, festival feeling, and new years holiday is more holy and family gathering feeling.

このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

今日は、最近とても寒いので、鍋について。

日本はとても寒くなってきました。
北海道の僕が住んでいるところは最低気温が-8℃ぐらいまで下がるようになりました。関西でも最低気温は0℃近くまで下がっていますね。
みなさんの住んでいるところはどうでしょうか。

さて。
日本の冬といえば、いろいろありますが、食べ物が美味しいのも、日本の冬の特徴の一つかもしれません。日本の冬の食べ物といえば、みなさんは何を思い浮かべますか？

鍋とか、カニ、とかですかね。
人によると思いますが個人的にも冬といえば、鍋！という感じがします。

海外にも鍋文化はあると思いますが、日本の鍋はいろんな種類があるので、それをいくつか紹介しますね！

すき焼き
すき焼きは、牛肉や野菜などを鉄鍋で焼いたり煮たりして作ります。調味料は醤油・砂糖・酒・みりんをいれます。野菜はネギ・ハクサイ・シュンギク・シイタケ・焼き豆腐・コンニャク・シラタキなどを使います。卵をといて、からめて食べることが多いです。


しゃぶしゃぶ
しゃぶしゃぶは、日本の鍋料理の一つです。
薄く切った食材を鍋の熱湯やスープにくぐらせて、ポン酢とゴマダレにつけて食べます。食材は、鶏肉、豚肉、魚介、豆腐、油揚げ、ハクサイ、長葱、春菊、ミズナ、などの野菜類、シイタケ、シメジ、エノキなどのキノコ類、薄く切った大根、人参などの根菜類、春雨、葛きり、マロニーなどいろいろですね。
家庭によっていろいろ違うと思います。


水炊き
基本的にはお湯のみで煮る調理法の鍋です。　
九州では鶏肉を使うようです。
関西では鶏肉以外に豚肉や牛肉なども使います。
出汁昆布とともに文字通り水から煮て、ポン酢や醤油で食べます
残ったスープにちゃんぽん麺やうどんを入れたり、ご飯を入れておじや（雑炊）にする場合がある。九州風では麺が多く、関西風では飯を入れることが多い。


最後にもつ鍋です。
これは家で1番良くする鍋ですね。
もつは牛などの小腸や大腸のことですね。
海外の人は好みがあるみたいですね。
だし、唐辛子、ニンニクを使ったスープに、キャベツ、ニラ、もつ、豆腐などを入れます。〆に麺を入れることが多いです。


他にもたくさん鍋はあると思いますが、有名な鍋を紹介しました。
地域によって入っている食材が変われば鍋の名前が変わったりしますね。
これも日本の料理の特徴ですね。
