Este tiempo verbal lo vamos a utilizar para hablar de una acción que ocurrió o pasó antes de otra acción en el pasado.
Para ello vamos a utilizar el verbo HABER conjugado en Imperfecto + el verbo de la acción en participio.

Ejemplo de conjugación: (Trabajar): Yo había trabajado.
Ejemplo de uso: Cuando llegué a la oficina el jefe ya (already) había llegado.
