안녕하세요! 2023년 7월 26일 수요일 한국어강사 세이디예요. 찾아온 무더위로 지치는 계절 여름! 더위를 가시게 해 여름 하면 떠오르는 음식 중 하나가 바로 빙수인데요. 요즘에는 여러 종류의 빙수가 있지만, 대표적이고 전통적인 빙수는 역시 팥빙수지요. 팥빙수는 한국의 여름 디저트로, 얼음과 달콤한 팥 앙금, 과일, 떡 등을 함께 먹는 음식이에요. 얼음을 다져서 그 위에 다양한 재료를 올려서 먹는데, 시원하고 달콤한 맛이 일품이에요. 한국에서는 팥빙수를 전문으로 판매하는 가게나 카페 혹은 빵 집에서도 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있어요. 가수 윤종신의 노래 “팥빙수”도 많은 사람들의 인기를 받았죠. 이 노래를 들으면 한국인들의 팥빙수에 대한 남다른 애정을 느끼실 수 있어요. 그럼 한번 들어보실까요~

With the arrival of scorching summer, the exhausting season is coming! One of the foods that comes to mind when you think of summer that makes you feel hot is shaved ice. Nowadays, there are many types of shaved ice, but the representative and traditional one is definitely patbingsu. Patbingsu is a Korean summer dessert that is a food made by eating ice and sweet red bean paste, fruits, rice cakes, etc. together. Crushed ice is put on top of various ingredients, and the cool and sweet taste is irresistible. You can easily find stores, cafes, and bakeries that specialize in selling patbingsu. このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

今日は、図書館について。

みなさんは図書館に行きますか？
僕はオンラインで仕事をするまではほとんど行きませんでした。

中学生の時に、高校入試の為の勉強をする為に行ってたぐらいですね。僕の地元の図書館には、自習室というのがありました。中学3年生の時は、毎週末に行っていたと思います。朝9時ぐらいから開くので、少し前に行って、並んで待っていました。土日は自習室を使う人が多いから、満席になって、入れないこともありました。今思うとすごいですね。今もそうなんでしょうか。

そんなにはかどった記憶はありませんが、せめてそこで集中してがんばろうとしてたんだと思います。


北海道に来てから図書館には良く行きます。
いつもはAmazonのKindleで本を探すことが多いです。
でもそれだと新しい本との偶然の出会いがないですよね。
必ずオススメが出てくるので。

図書館には、それがないので、偶然、たまたま、あ、これ読んでみたい！という本に出会います。その時に、あ、自分は今こういうことを知りたいんだな、ということに気づく時もあります。

今日は、いろいろかりました。
マンガもありますし、英語の本や、オランダの歴史の本とかを借りました。

#178 図書館に行きましたについて

Many thought Collins had ended the series after the 2010 publication of Mockingjay — she even wrote in 2015 that it was "time to move on to other lands."

But four years later, she surprised readers and the publishing world when she announced she was working on what became The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, released in 2020 and set 64 years before the first book.

Collins used parts of Greek mythology and the Roman gladiator games for her earlier Hunger Games books.

But for the new book, she said she was inspired by the Scottish philosopher David Hume, and what he described as "the easiness with which the many are governed by the few."

She added that the book will also look at the use of propaganda and "the power of those who control the narrative."

The film version of Songbirds and Snakes, starring Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler, came out last year. This fall, a Hunger Games play is set to open in London.
