월요일
오늘은 학교에 갔어요. 아침에 일어나서 세수를 하고 밥을 먹었어요. 그리고 가방을 챙기고 학교에 갔어요. 친구들과 인사하고 교실에 들어갔어요.

첫 번째 수업은 한국어였어요. 선생님이 글자를 읽고 따라 하라고 했어요. 나는 천천히 읽고 선생님 말씀을 잘 들었어요. 친구들도 열심히 공부했어요.

점심시간이 되었어요. 친구들과 같이 밥을 먹고 이야기를 했어요. 나는 김밥과 과일을 먹었어요. 너무 맛있었어요.

오후에는 미술 수업이 있었어요. 그림을 그리고 색칠을 했어요. 나는 나무와 하늘을 그렸어요. 예쁘게 잘 그려서 기분이 좋았어요.

학교가 끝나고 집에 갔어요. 숙제를 하고 저녁을 먹었어요. 오늘 하루가 재미있었어요.

Monday
Today, I went to school. In the morning, I woke up, washed my face, and ate breakfast. Then, I packed my bag and went to school. I greeted my friends and entered the classroom.

The first class was Korean. The teacher read the letters and told us to follow along. I read slowly and listened carefully to the teacher. My friends also studied hard.

During lunchtime, I ate with my friends and talked with them. I ate kimbap and fruit. It was very delicious.

In the afternoon, I had an art class. I drew pictures and colored them. I drew a tree and the sky. I felt happy because I drew them beautifully.

After school, I went home. I did my homework and ate dinner. Today was a fun day. 😊

Following a verb, both 一下 ((yí xià, lit. “once”) and(一)点儿 ({yì} diǎnr “a bit”) can soften the tone in a question or an imperative sentence, therefore making it more polite. When used in this way, 一下(yí xià) modifies the verb, while(一)点儿 ({yì} diǎnr) modifies the object.

For example:
nǐ kàn yí xià ， zhè shì shuí de zhào piàn ？ 
你看一下，这是谁的照片？   Take a look. Whose photo is this?

nǐ xiǎnɡ chī diǎnr shén me ？ 
你想吃点儿什么？       What would you like to eat?

nǐ jìn lái yí xià 。 
你进来一下。Come in for a minute.

wǒ men hē yì diǎnr chá bɑ 。 
我们喝一点儿茶吧。  Have a little tea.

qǐnɡ nǐ kāi yí xià mén 。 
请你开一下门。   Please open the door.

ฉันคิดว่าเราไม่ได้เจอกัน 1 ปีแล้วนะคะ

Hi everyone!! I know it’s been a loooong long time since we met on this channel. I’m so glad I can finally do this again.

This is 6th Episode of Thai T-la-nid Podcast and we are going to learn five expressions that you can use when you see someone after a long time. Ok, เริ่มกันเลยค่ะ!! Let’s go!

1. ไม่ได้เจอกันนานเลย (mâi-dâai jer gan naan loiie) = Long time no see! 

ไม่ได้ (mâi-dâai) + verb = didn’t do sth
เจอกัน (jer gan) = to meet each other 
เลย (loiie) = at all, totally, extremely 


2. เป็นยังไงบ้าง (bpen yang-ngai bâang) = How are you? How have you been?
เป็น (bpen) = to be
ยังไง (yang-ngai) = how 
บ้าง = an ending particle (when you expect multiple answers or when the answer can be anything)


3. สบายดีไหม (sà-baai-dee mái) = Are you doing well? Have you been well?
สบายดี sà-baai-dee = to be well
ไหม (mái) = yes-no particle


4. คิดถึงมาก (kít-tĕung mâak) = I miss you. I missed you.
คิดถึง (kít-tĕung) = to miss 
มาก (mâak) = very


5. คิดถึงกันไหม (kít-tĕung gan mái) = Do you miss me/each other? 
กัน (gan) = each other


Now let’s repeat again.

1. ไม่ได้เจอกันนานเลย  (mâi-dâai jer gan naan loiie) = Long time no see.
2. เป็นยังไงบ้าง (bpen yang-nagi bâang) = How are you? How have you been?
3. สบายดีไหม (sà-baai-dee mái) = Are you doing well? Have you been well?
4. คิดถึงมาก (kít-tĕung mâak) = I miss you. I missed you.
5. คิดถึงกันไหม (kít-tĕung gan mái) = Do you miss me/each other?

いろいろ意味があるんですけど、今回は、見た感じを話したい時の〜そう、について話します。

英語だと、it looks like〜になるんですかね。
ちょっとしたことを言いたい時によくありますよね。
楽しそうですね、とか、おいしそうです、とか。

他にもいろいろ見た感じを表現できるので、例を紹介しますね。

いそがしそうです
　ー彼はいつも忙しそうです。

あつそうです
　ーこのうどんはとても熱そうです。

すずしそうです
　ー明日はすずしそうです。

苦しそうです
　ー彼女はたくさん食べすぎて、苦しそうです。

大変そうです
　ー彼は彼女ともめていて、大変そうです。

暇そうです
　ーあの店はいつも暇そうです。

便利そうです
　ーこのカバンはとても便利そうです。

否定の言い方は、
ーなさそうです。が良く使います。
忙しくなさそうです。
熱くなさそうです。
大変じゃなさそうです。
