Opis
In American and British English, the vowels in "day" and "go" are glides: the tongue moves during the vowel, "DAY-ee" and "GO-oo". In Indian English, these vowels are usually steady: the tongue stays in one place, giving a long, pure "eh" and a long, pure "oh".
