“뭐 해요?” and “뭐 하세요?” They have the same meaning in English. 
"What are you doing?"
But the nuance is different.

今日の北海道の天気は曇り。
気温は22℃。

先週はとても暑かったですが、今週は少し肌寒いです。

さて、今日は、フリをする、について話します。

日本語の勉強をしていて、
ーのフリをする、という言葉を聞いたことがありますか？

今日のレッスンで出てきておもしろかったので、今日はこの話をします。

フリ、という言葉はよくカタカナで書かれますが、ひらがなでも大丈夫です。そして意味を調べると、ふるまいとかしぐさ、という意味でした。

ふるまいという言葉が転じて、ふり、という言葉になっているようです。

そして、フリをする、の意味は、本当は違うけど、そうであるかのようにふるまうこと、です。

例としては、
聞こえないフリをする
知らないフリをする
気づかないフリをする
とも使えますし、

知っているフリをする
聞こえているフリをする
などにも使えます。

どちらにせよ、状況にあわせて、自分にとって都合の良いようにしたい時にフリをするは使えそうですね。


私は英語のレッスンの時に時々、わかっているフリをして、あとで後悔することがあります。

ちゃんと勉強しないといけないですね。
