Sun Tzu said you need to know yourself, know your enemy, and know the terrain too. Because in a war, you win by using the environment around you. For example, in World War II, German U-boats won three big battles in the Mediterranean—they hid their boats using the sea’s special water conditions, and that helped them win. So knowing the terrain is really important.

어제는 친구와 함께 등산을 갔습니다. 처음에는 길이 평탄해서 쉽게 올라갔지만, 정상 근처에서는 바람이 세고 길이 미끄러워서 힘들었습니다. 그래도 정상에서 본 경치는 정말 아름다웠습니다.
