みなさんは、どこに住（す）んでいますか。お仕事（しごと）は何（なん）ですか。

(I live in Japan. I live in Tokyo. My husband works in Tokyo. I teach Japanese. My son goes to high school in Tokyo. My daughter is learning to play the piano. Where do you live? What do you do for a living?)
住みます→住んで（グループ１）
働きます→働いて（グループ１）
教えます→教えて（グループ２）
行きます→行って（グループ１）
習います→ならって（グループ１）
【て形】ですね。グループわかりますか。動詞（どうし）のグループは大切です。復習（ふくしゅう）してください。

ここで、写真（しゃしん）をとってもいいですか。Can I take a picture here?
はい、いいです。Sure, please take it.
美術館（びじゅつかん）で写真をとってもいいですか。
いいえ、美術館で写真をとってはいけません。
テストです。教科書（きょうかしょ）を見てもいいですか。Can I see the textbook?
教科書を見てはいけません。No, you can’t.
辞書を使ってもいいですか。
いいえ、辞書（じしょ）を使ってはいけません。

Hi, so you want to improve your business English skills. In order to speak like and understand native speakers, it's important to understand the business idioms which native speakers use on a daily basis. In this podcast I will use 11 business idioms. See you if you can spot them. When you hear an idiom pause the podcast and write it down, then, next to the idiom, write the word or phrase which corresponds to the meaning of the idiom. Your task is to match the idioms to their meanings. I will do the first one for you as an example. In order to organize my tasks every day I have to get my ducks in a row. So the first idiom you should write down is 'get my ducks in a row'. The word you should write next to it is 'organize.' Now, let's get down to business.
