もなく洞穴へ帰ってきた子狐は、　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
「お母ちゃん、おててが冷たい、」
と言って、ぬれて牡丹色になった両手を
母さん狐の前に さしだしました。
母さん狐は、その手に、は―っと息をふっかけて、
ぬくとい母さんの手でやんわり包んでやりながら、
「もうすぐ暖かくなるよ、雪をさわると、
　すぐ暖かくなるもんだよ」　　　
といいましたが、かわいい ぼうやの手に
しもやけが できては かわいそうだから、
夜になったら町まで行って、
ぼうやの おててに あうような 毛糸の手袋を
買ってやろうと思いました。

En montagne
Deux petites tortues partent en montagne. Elles ont décidé d'escalader Le Mont Blanc. C'est une très haute montagne. Son sommet touche presque le ciel!
Comme il fait froid, elles ont des bonnets de laine et de grosses bottines à lacets. Les tortues marchent très lentement.
Des pierres roulent, une tortue glisse… Vite, son amie lui lance une corde, elle l'attrape avec son bec et se hisse jusqu'en haut! Il faut du courage, c'est dur d'arriver au sommet.
Enfin, le voilà! Le soleil brille sur la neige, l'air est froid et sec. Les tortues fatiguées se reposent et admirent le paysage avant de redescendre. Elles reviendront bientôt, c'est si beau!

Histoire 41 - En montagne

In the vocabulary of 'Minna no Nihongo' Chapter 1, there are the words ”きょうし”  and ”せんせい” . Do you understand the difference? Both translate to 'teacher,' but ”きょうし” generally refers to school teachers, with a few exceptions. For example, it does not refer to those who teach at cram schools . On the other hand, ”せんせい” has a broader meaning. At this point in Lesson 1, you might not need to worry too much about it, but I will explain.

Of course, school teachers are included, but also instructors at cram schools, doctors, politicians, and sports instructors can all be called '先生.' In Lesson 17 on page 145, there is a conversation between a doctor and Matsumoto-san, and if Matsumoto-san were to refer to this doctor, they would normally call them “せんせい” not ”いしゃ” , which means ”doctor.”

This might change the subject a bit, but regarding my 'Minna no Nihongo course,' I have created a substantial amount of homework with audio. Just taking lessons alone won't significantly improve your skills. I believe this homework will be quite effective. Of course, it is not mandatory; whether to do it or not depends on the students.
