Mǎlíng ：Dàwèi ，nǐ yǒu kàn ào yùn bǐsài ma ？
马 玲：     大卫，     你  有  看    奥 运    比 赛  吗？
Dàwèi ：Wǒ kàn le jǐ chǎng bǐsài 。
大卫：      我    看 了 几  场     比赛。
Mǎlíng ：Nǐ xǐhuan kàn shénme xiàngmù ？
马玲：     你    喜欢    看      什么       项目？
Dàwèi ：Wǒ duì pīng pāng qiú ，yǔ máo qiú hé tǐcāo tèbié gǎn xìngqù 。
大 卫：    我    对    乒     乓      球，    羽  毛   球  和    体操  特别  感    兴趣。
Mǎlíng ：wǒ zhènghǎo yě tèbié xǐhuan 。
马玲：     我       正 好      也    特别   喜欢。
jīntiān wǎnshang yǒu pīngpāng qiú nánzǐ dān dǎ juésài ， 
今天          晚上       有        乒乓      球    男子   单   打   决赛，
 shì Zhōnguó duì Ruìdiǎn，wǒmen yìqǐ kàn ba 。
  是      中  国    对     瑞典，        我们   一起   看 吧。
Dàwèi : Hǎo ya ! Wǒmen hái kěyǐ yìqǐ hē hē píjiǔ ，chī chī huāshēng,
大卫:        好 呀!      我们      还  可以 一起  喝 喝 啤酒， 吃  吃    花生，
yìqǐ wèi Zhōngguó duì jiāyóu。
   一起  为   中国    队 加油。

                table tennis will be held tonight. It's China versus Sweden, Let's watch it together.

David:  OK! We can drink beer, eat some peanuts and cheer for the Chinese team together.

In addition, we ask when make up (phrasal verb) is used as a verb, and of course, it wouldn’t be English if there were no exceptions to the rules! I'm still learning how to do this podcasting thing, but I'm trying to share my words anyway. I speak quite quickly in this episode... Sorry! I will try to speak slower next time. 

There's a question for you to answer at the end - in audio or written form - so if you have 10 minutes to listen, and then 5 minutes to answer the question that end -- why not GIVE IT A GO?! (which is another way of saying -  GO FOR IT! DO IT!) You have nothing to lose and lots to gain!

Using your words to speak about things that matter to you - that mean something to you - is a great way to create output and use your English. If you don't want to answer my question - you could try writing freely for 5 minutes. Or you could speak into your phone and talk about how you're doing/feeling today - or what's on your mind. It may feel strange, at first, and that's normal! But over time, speaking or writing - just for yourself - will start to feel good - and it's a WONDERFUL habit to start to build.
