Today my day were very crazy. A little before of to sleep a black snake appeared in the room of my mother. Were really scary, but we managed to get her out of the house.

in my mother’s room. We were really scared, but we managed to get her out of
the house.

Today my day was very crazy. Just a few minutes before sleeping, a black snake appeared
into the room of my mother. We were both really scared, but we managed to get her out of
the house.
I added the word “both” in 4th sentence, just because it sounds more natural this way, but it isn’t incorrect to not use it.
