I chose my college major by following up my friend’s advice. I love English, yet I wasn’t ready to learn English literature as a major. Then my friend told me that accounting is the best choice for people who are not good at physics or chemistry. I admired him a lot and followed his advice. Since then my life has been full with doing something that I don’t like. Almost twenty years passed, my accounting knowledge and experience has been rising to a quite level, still I cannot work as an enthusiastic accountant. My advice for young people who are not sure about what major to choose in the college is following your instincts and choosing something you like.

I agree with the advice, but it also depends on other factors. Have you thought of going for a second career? :)

Almost twenty years later, my accounting knowledge and experience have been rising to advanced level, still I cannot work as an enthusiastic accountant. My advice for young people who are not sure about what major to choose in college is to follow your instincts and choose something you like.
