It was sunny today. Dad and I spent the whole day at home watching “Chainsaw Man,” which was really fun! I realized I actually prefer violent, bloody action scenes to girly storylines. Next week, one of my besties is returning to stay after she graduated in another city. Although technically a Hong Kong citizen, she is an outsider here, just like me – which brings us even closer. Her English and Cantonese are very limited, almost non-existent, making things really awkward. Her mom intends to ask my dad if he'd tutor her for perhaps a year or two. He hasn’t decided yet, and I'm honestly not sure what to make of the idea either.
