I came across an article online about "Artificial Sun" and would like to share it here. The article states we are facing a big issue called "Energy problem". The population all over the world will reach up to 10 billion in 2050 and we need new power resource which is over 40 trillion KWh. The amount of world power generation in 2019 was about 27 trillion. So, that means we need as much other power resource as the whole earth. In terms of power amount, cost, eco-friendly and safe, hydroelectric power generation and solar power are not enough and are not reality. One of the solutions to this issue is nuclear fusion generation which attracts a lot of attention these days.
It is said that nuclear fusion generation is to make artificial sun on the earth. The attempt is that we artificially create the same nuclear fusion reaction as one which generates inside Sun and extract the energy out of it. The fuel for nuclear fusion is heavy hydrogen and tritium. We can get them out of sea and they are called "inexhaustible energy source". In theory, one kiro gram(kg) can generate as much energy as 10 million kg fossil fuel. Now, the generation has a bunch of technical challenging, but Korea has cutting-edge technology on this and it has stayed ahead of the game.
Anyway, the technology is expected to be commercialized in 2040 or 2050. I will turn 85 around that time and I really hope the commercialization is a lot faster and is affordable for everyone.

I came across an article online about "Artificial Sun" and would like to share
it here. The article states that we are(we will be) facing a big "Energy problem."
The population all over the world will reach up to 10 billion in 2050 and we
need new power resources that can generate over 40 trillion KWh per year. The amount of power
generated in 2019 worldwide was only about 27 trillion KWh. So, that means we will need much more alternative
power resources to power the whole earth. In terms of total power output, cost, eco-friendliness
and safety, hydroelectric and solar power are not enough and will not meet future demand. One of the solutions to this issue is nuclear fusion generation. Nuclear fusion
attracts a lot of attention these days. It is said that nuclear fusion
generation is equivalent to creating an artificial sun on the earth. The process involves
artificially creating the same nuclear fusion reaction as the one which is generated
inside the sun's core. This energy is then extracted/harnessed and supplied to consumers. The fuel for nuclear fusion is
heavy hydrogen and tritium. We can get them out of sea and they are an
"inexhaustible energy source." In theory, one kilogram(kg) can generate as much
energy as 10 million kg of fossil fuel. Now/Currently, the generation of nuclear fusion power has a number of
technical challenges, but Korea has developed cutting-edge technology on this and it has
stayed ahead of the game. Anyway, the technology is expected to be
commercialized in 2040 or 2050. I will turn 85 around that time and I really
hope the commercialization will be a lot faster and made affordable for everyone.
Some sentences are a little long. They read better and have more impact when you split them.
A bunch of ... challenges : this is quite informal writting, not really suitable here in your post. Better to say a : number of/ a few. A bunch of flowers/ a bunch of keys : this is perfectly fine.
Well done, it's a difficult topic.
