It's a harsh insult that means you want the person to go away - the person has no redeeming human value so the person can go into a hole and die. Very harsh way to talk to someone, but it is not vulgar or obscene. It might be justified if the person were extremely rude to you.

Something as “go hide yourself,” or “be shameful of yourself.” It can be used for different reasons, but it’s kinda rude. It has a negative connotation, unless it’s used for parody or comedy. But even that, people may have different feelings about it.

This is a really nasty insult. People might say this to someone if they want them to shut up, or go away because they are annoying. But to sum it up, it means you want the person to die and climb into a hole (a grave basically).
