After working nine days straight, I’m as dead as a dodo. The intensive work has sucked all my energy and there is none left for my holiday plan. I am supposed to make full use of my five-day holiday to finish a load of to-dos. However, two days have passed, and there is still no progress. I know it’s essential to take a rest, but if I don’t take advantage of the holiday, I will have even less time to finish my to-dos after I return to work. To rest, or not to rest, that is the question.

After nine straight days of work, I’m dead as a dodo. The intensive work has drained me dry, leaving me with no energy for chores I had intended to do. I am supposed to make full use of my five-day holiday to finish a load of to-dos. However, with two days gone, I still have made no progress. I know it’s essential that I rest. But, if I don’t finish my chores over the holiday I will have even less time for them after I return to work. To rest, or not to rest, that is the question.
"as dead as a dodo" is perfectly fine but "dead as a dodo" sounds cool.
I am confused by the sentence
"I am supposed to make full use of my five-day holiday to finish a load of to-dos."
It doesn't make sense to me. It sounds like somebody else told you that you have to spend your holiday this way. Is that true? Rather than saying "I am supposed to" I suspect you meant to say "I really ought to" or "I had intended to".

I am supposed to make full use of my five-day holiday to finish a load of things left to do. However, two days have passed and I haven't done anything yet. I know it’s essential to rest, but if I don’t take advantage of my holiday, I will have even less time to finish what had initially planned to do, especially once I'm back to work. To rest, or not to rest, that is the question.
I think it's a question of priorities and if what you need to do is of vital importance. Otherwise I health should be your first priority, easier said than done, I'll give you that :).
