In my opinion, it depends on what you want. for example, if a person needs to earn more to save their loved one, of course, money means a lot to them, in this situation, income is essential for their happiness. It is widely acknowledged that money isn't everything in some people's life because happiness includes one’s health, mental state, love and being loved, etc. However, we all need money to support our life. Thus, it depends on your goal and what you are looking for, more importantly, we need to hold the balance between money and happiness. Personally, as long as my income can cover my daily expense and save some extra money for my hobbies that’s enough, apart from that, my happiness is also consist of having time with my family and friends, enjoying my interests, and staying healthy.
