The tone is nice and natural but I don't know exactly what you're saying! It totally makes sense this far: "Having experienced something firsthand in a foreign country that I never had back home made me realize that" Then this part I don't understand: "I was led to think about the way of my life that I hadn't lived feeling like myself." Can you perhaps explain it a bit further?
