Hello, Thank you for your podcast. I will write about my country. Poland is 69th on the list of the largest countries in the world. Poland has one of the highest densities of lakes in the world. Northern region bordering the Baltic Sea but in south are Tatra Mountains. The most popular animals in Polen are European bison and black and white storks. Interesting fact about bison in Polen: they can be found roaming on the 150,000 hectares of the Białowieża Primeval Forest in Poland – that the last primaeval forest in Europe, that once sprawled across the continent thousands of years ago. Storks are very important to us. They can be found everywhere and when they arrive they are a sign that the winter is over and when they fly away it means that winter is approaching. Interesting info: Poland is hosts around one quarter of the global population of white storks.
