Madrugada es un sustantivo, es el tiempo posterior a la medianoche y previo al amanecer. Amanece es un verbo, es el tiempo en el que empieza a aparecer la luz del día. En el caso de que quieres referirte al sustantivo tienes que hablar de el amanecer.
