I had to look up the meaning of the word "fad". I think that perfect physical appearance (the physical shape itself, makeup, body art, clothes) is really fashionable among young people today. But perhaps it is not a "fad", perhaps it is the attention to body care and aesthetics that is constantly growing with new possibilities for improving oneself.
