It is Valentine's Day tomorrow. As far as I can tell, only women have a custom of sending some chocolates to men that day in Japan, who are their coworkers, good friends, fathers and brothers. Instead, only men have a custom of giving some cookies to women as a token of their appreciation on March 14. Maybe, now, a lot has changed. When I was a little boy, I didn't expect that such day will come when women can give chocolates to men except their steady boyfriends. On the other hand, I heard not only women but also men give some gifts to each other, have meals and celebrate together outside of Japan. I'm not going to lie, but I'm not sure which one is better. In my case, I'd rather like to stay together and celebrate then give some presents to others on different day. Just in this case, I think their relationship may be limited to be a couple. Actually, I saw my daughter preparing handmade chocolates today. What are the chances of me getting one of them? If I can try some, I'm pretty sure they would be neither too sweet nor too heavy. They must be tasty. When I just imagine guys getting chocolates made by her, I'm consumed with jealousy.
