Unfortunately, I do not have any musical instruments at my home. However, a few months ago I had visited at my friends home and he has his own guitar and I tried by best to play that instrument.

Unfortunately, I do not have any musical instruments at my home. However, a few months ago I visited my friend's home and he has his own guitar. I tried my best to play it.
Don't link too many clauses together with AND - that creates a 'run-on' sentence. Good job.
