Comparing men to women ice hokey
This Olympic games I have been watching ice hokey. It is very interesting for me to see men and women matches.
There are some obvious differences, such as slower skating and less powerful shots in women. Also, more aggressive fights with the opponent, when it comes to getting a puck. It seems to me that men shot on goals from further distances as well. That may be associated with men being stronger therefore their shots are quicek and able to be effective even from a blue line.
What surprised me a lot is that women tend to pass less to their teammates than men do, except American and Canadian women. The other women usually hold the puck as long as possible instead of passing it. Do not know if they just want to score at Olympics, are afraid of losing the puck or do not care about a cooperation, which is very necessary part of hockey.

Those are great observations!
