Usually we say “Japanese people” instead of just “Japanese”
“We” should be lower case.
“Ancient Japanese drawings” with no “the”
“We used to hide our face” means it is something that was common a long time ago. “Used” and not “use”

Good work. I think that hiding your face with a fan is a bit more elegant than with a face mask.
