How I learn new words. I regularly listen to podcasts, read articles, and watch videos to expand my vocabulary. Whenever I stumble across an unfamiliar word, I add it to Vopik app. With a click on the AI button I generate detailed information: definitions, translations, synonyms, and multiple example sentences. Using AI saves me a lot of time. I upload pictures to make learning more visual. I prefer pictures that are funny, ridiculous, or even a little rude - because they stick in memory better. To organise words, I use tags, such as Food - meat, Phrasal verbs - UP, Levels - B1, Levels - C1. If I believe the word will be useful soon, I add it to Repetition. If not, it simply stays in my vocabulary without being scheduled. I review words every day, Vopik prepares a daily set for me using an SRS (Spaced Repetition System) algorithm. I don’t need to choose words manually. Another feature that helps me is the writing practice. The AI generates a sentence in my native language, I translate it into the target language, and the AI provides instant analysis - fixed mistakes, grammar corrections, and alternative word recommendations. It's like having a personal tutor. This way, I not only reinforce the word I’m reviewing but also learn how to use it in context with other words and collocations. In addition to the word I review, I learn other unfamiliar words, used in the sentence. Vopik has a quick Search and Stats page. In short, it's a simple web app that allows you to learn multiple languages. Just add new words, search quickly when necessary, and review daily.
