There was a World Cup final at 4:00 a.m. this morning, but I forgot to watch it. I thought Argentina would win, but Spain won instead. A match between two strong teams must have been very exciting, so I want to watch it when I get home. Today, two of my friends had birthdays recently, so the four of us gave them birthday presents during lunch. They were both very happy, and that made me happy too. After school today, I’m going to have a barbecue with four boys and four girls from my part-time job. We’re going to rent a space at a beer garden near Yokohama Station and have a barbecue. After that, we’re planning to set off some fireworks together. I’m really excited because I think I’ll make some wonderful summer memories with all my favourite people. I haven’t decided what to wear yet, so I’ll think about a cute outfit when I get home.
