A while ago, a girl I work with offered her lunch to me, as she wasn't hungry. A first, I felt shy and said, 'No'. But after some time, my hunger got the better of me.
She was on her way out of the room when I happened to be walking by. She saw me and repeated the question from earlier. This time, with a smile, I accepted.
When I'd seen her walking out of the room, I had figured she was just nipping out to grab a drink of water or something, but it turned out that she was actually going home.
She was carrying lots of things - and automatically, this sentence slipped out of my mouth, "You need help take them out?"
Then I felt stupid. I had said that sentence leaving out the 'to'. I know it's an easy mistake to forget the little things.
