It's sunny today. As usual, I was relaxing and chatting with my older sister on the phone before lunch. Then, Mom received a call while whipping up our meal. It was Vivian, about another upcoming singing contest. Mom signed me up without hesitation even though the date hasn't been set yet. My anxiety level immediately rose. I don't know the details, all I know is that I'm about to sing an unfamiliar song in front of an audience, and I'll be judged. That's making butterflies flutter in my stomach.
