I have been reading 10 to 15 pages on a regular basis for a few years. I learn so much from books. It is not just the vocabulary but also reading helps to consolidate grammar that one has learned before. Since yesterday, I have been thinking about the answer that I revieved in response to my question. If native speakers are saying that it doesn't make sense , nor it sounds natural to express the idea that way, why not just forget it instead of questioning it. You said yourself , you can say that sentence another way. So why not say it that way. Put it out of your head, focus and keep going. Otherwise, you are going to end up confusing other things as well. Thanks everybody

If native speakers are saying that it doesn't make sense , and it doesn't sound natural to express the idea that way, why not just forget it instead of questioning it. I myself said that I can say that sentence another way. So why not say it that way? I should put it out of my head, focus and keep going. I think I know which question you are referring to. And I agree with you here: it's better to accept that it doesn't sound great and move on. The main thing I changed in your writing above is that you switched from first-person to second-person (but still I think referring to yourself) near the end. I find that switch a bit confusing unless you introduce it by saying "I said to myself, 'You can say that sentence...'". But other than that, it was very clear, and you speaking (audio recording) is very clear as well. I've nitpicked before, but your accent and speech patterns are very good.
