It was gray and gloomy today, a storm could start any second. In class, I studied this expository piece on seismology, fault lines, and how tectonic plates shift. Honestly, I was so bored I almost dozed off. After school, Mom and I tried to finish our unfinished task- giving the cat a trim. Getting to his belly is the worst! Super sensitive and he just won’t let you near it! This time we were determined, no more gentle approach, holding him down by force! But it was all in vain; he’s just too agile to pin down. Eventually he managed to add a few more scratches to Mom’s collection on her arms. We might need a new plan for this Sunday.
