It is not typical of the writer herself to lie. She reveals that feelings such as guilt and fear are evoked when she feels tempted to do so, not to mention high blood pressure and increased heart rate. In addition, in her childhood, flawless lies never worked for her, it seemed impossible to people not to detect whether she tried to hide anything.
