Hello Steven, I have been using ChatGPT for several months. There is my way to use ChatGPT to help with my English. 1. Help me correct the sentence. I write several sentences first, maybe just a short story or diary, and then let ChatGPT correct my sentences. It usually gives me back more formal sentences and correct grammar. 2. I use ChatGPT to help me translate some words from Chinese to English. You know Google Translate can also do this, but sometimes it doesn't work. Such as Chinese slang or idiom. ChatGPT can do this and return similar meanings, descriptions, and some examples. I think it's really helpful. 3. I use ChatGPT to expand my English vocabulary and do extensive reading. I will choose a topic and ask it to give me some topic-specific vocabularies. Then I will ask it again for some new word meaning in its answer. And I also ask ChatGPT to give me some tips on how to write IELTS essays and letters. I ask ChatGPT some pros and cons on a topic to get some opinions. 4. I use ChatGPT to look up new slang and phrases that I learned from YouTube videos. It's really nice for it to give me a detailed explanation and examples. It's also helpful to figure out the slight differences between similar words. This is how I use ChatGPT, hope you like it!
