Sunshine and not a cloud in the sky today. My mom surprised me with a phone stand when she got back home. It's technically a hand-me-down, but it looks brand new. This thing is a giant! Seriously, it's almost as tall as me. The base is heavy and sturdy – made of metal, I think – so it won't topple over easily. The pole telescopes out and has multiple cardan (? Not a word I know!) joints so I can adjust it any way I want. Looking at it, I couldn’t help but picture myself lying down, comfy and cozy, with my iPad hovering perfectly above my face. Talk about convenience! This might just be the best gadget I've gotten in a while.
