I was on holiday and it was Sunday evening during summer. I was in a thai restaurant and ordered a dish with a drink. During ate it the waitress went past me, lost the balance and the glasses and plates on the waitress plate felt down. I saw that and without waiting I helped her to clean it. For that the waitress give me dessert with a drink of my choice as a gift. This was one of the best things that has ever happened to me for being friendly.

While I was eating, the waitress walked past me, lost her balance and the glasses and plates on her tray fell. I saw it and without waiting I helped her to clean up. For that the waitress give me dessert with a drink of my choice as a gift. This was one of the best things that has ever happened to me for being friendly.

While I was eating it, the waitress went past me, lost her balance and the glasses and plates she was carrying fell down. Without hesitation, I helped her clean it up. For that, the waitress give me dessert with a drink of my choice as a gift. This was one of the best things that has ever happened to me for being friendly.

Some of the corrections are simply more natural ways of saying things, not neccessarily incorrect.
