the housing price in China is getting higher and higher, especially in the first tier cities,beijing, shanghai, shenzhen, guangzhou. i work in Shanghai, so i will tell you the price in Shanghai, as i know the price of urban districts is about 40000-60000RMB/sq.m, but the average salary of shanghai is about 5451 Rmb/month, maybe this year it could be higher. i think housing price in Shanghai is too high to afford.

Buy = 250,000 to 500,000 dollars
Cheap neighborhood
Rent = 100 to 200 dollars
Buy = 25,000 to 100,000 dollars
