I love learning about other cultures, this is why I travel! As a Canadian, the only Canadian cultural things I can think about that are really really Canadian are hockey and poutine, but these are just famous Canadian things, not really cultural, most Canadians are stereotypically polite though saying sorry for saying sorry. I have been living in Thailand for a year, here are some cultural things or customs I have learned. Thailand is very respectful, and I absolutely love it. When you greet somebody Hello, you always do a Sawadee also called a "Wai" by putting your hands together like you are going to pray or clap below your chin. Some others include not pointing your feet at anybody (this is rude) and sometimes taking your shoes off before entering a place (not all places). This is true in Canada only before entering a home, not a store. Anyways, tell me about your culture!

I think the CULTURE is a big topic to talk about. If I have to say something about culture in China. It must be EATING.
What do the Chinese spend most of their money for? The answer is eating.
What's the important action will be taken if a group of Chinese hold a party, or something like family reunion? The answer is eating.
What's the best way to apologize somebody? The answer is eating.
How do you keep a good relationship with your customers? The answer is eating together.
...
Many things can be solved by eating in China.
The terminal question is, what do Chinese people eat? The answer is every living things.

Although some symbols have been created as a form of unification and representation of all of us, there are many cultures in Brazil. Here we find so many contrasts, even within the same city. I think Rio de Janeiro where I live is the best example of what I'm talking about. It's difficult to say anything in a general way. Maybe I could talk about cooking. Most of our meals include rice and beans when we are talking about lunchtime dinner. I can only think of other things specifically according to the regions and cities. Neither carnival is celebrated throughout the country. Not to mention how this party has drifted away from its origins and has become something purely commercial.

Hi, I'm Gusti from Bali, Indonesia.
Bali island maybe just a small dot on world map, but if you have time enough to explore there is a lot of unique culture here in Bali.
I think there is never enough time to tell about Bali.
We have our own language even not using it everyday, with three different level.
We respect environment (nature), animals, tools, and books with special offering.
We celebrate SIlent day every year, similar like Earth Hour. but silent day for 24 hour. No electricity, just stay at home. event our national airport also close for 24 hours.
there is a lot of thing to tell.

I'm from Italy, what can I say on the my culture, there would be many things to say. The history, the food, the cities and the see, the mountains and more. Maybe is better if you ask me what you want to know. By the way, excume for my english, I am studying to improve it.
