Hello! I love poems and found this one on the net from Nizar Qabbani. There was a translation but I changed it a little bit to stick more to the original text. What are your favorite EASY poems or songs in Arabic? Can you give us also a translation?

I don't think that its name is "Qassida qassira", this just translates as "A short poem".
I am looking for the following poem of Nizar Qabbani. We read it once in an Arabic class (not on italki) and I lost it. I think the name of it is Qassida qassira but I just found this quote. Does anybody have an idea? It's not on lyrics translate ( awesome site)
