What do studedts want to learn?

Hei!

I just applied for becoming a tutor in Norwegian. I am curious about what Norwegian learners want to learn and what they want to use the language for.

Thank you! Takk!

Hei!

I'm not learning Norwegian yet but I plan to do so in the future :)

As an absolute beginner I think I first would like to learn some basic sentences to be able to comunicate in really basic everyday situations (shopping, reading a menu, asking for drinks in a bar...). When I travelled around in Norway I always talked in English and I felt very bad for not having the confidence to say even few words in Norwegian.

Good luck being a tutor in Norwegian! :)

Hei Herman! Hvordan går det?

I decided to learn Norwegian because I fell in love with that language when I listen to it for the first time.

Personally, I want to achieve at least an intermediate level in the language for instance, but when I have the opportunity to visit Norway I will probably work harder. Because although I find Norwegian the most beautiful language in the world, it is a bit difficult to set aside so much time to learn a language that will be not so useful for me at the moment... Even so, I am doing my best to keep learning every day.

As for what I would like to learn in Norwegian as a student How to get a grip on the possessive pronouns (mi, min, mitt, mine...), since there are a number of particularities )at least it seems to) and I have been finding it quite hard to understand. After that I would like to learn some useful expressions, idioms , adverbs and conjunctions, in order to have a more fluently conversation and connect ideias easier (like if it were up to me, as far as I am aware, even so, around the bush, conversely, in which...). These kind of words helps a lot in daily conversations and sometimes is hard to find them on the Internet.

That is it! If you have any tips about these topics I have mentioned please let me now!

I love your country and your language!

Takk!
