What is the meaning of " are you available?" I get confused about " are you available " in different context .

It can mean "are you free?" (In this context, "free" means "not busy").

For example, you can say:

"Are you available to have a meeting on Thursday?"

and it means

"are you free on Thursday, or do you have plans?"
