Country name in your language = name of animal

In English the country Turkey is the same name of the animal Turkey.

In Portuguese the country Peru is the same name of the animal Peru (Peru animal is Turkey in English).

So guys, have you ever noticed a name of a country that in your language is the name of an animal? Or do you know a country name that in your language mean something else?

When I was a child, I loved the name of the lake in the Andes Titicaca. In Basque "titi" means "boob" and "kaka" (pronounced like "caca") is "poop". At that time I thougt that it was funny.

Jamaica. An island in the West Indies (Caribbean).

Here's an ancient joke:

Man 1: My wife's gone to the West Indies.

Man 2: Jamaica?

Man 1: No, she wanted to go.
