So maybe you were thinking about dos and don'ts during the lock-down period when you saw this title. No I was just wondering how many steps (on average) people are getting in if they are on lock-down like we are here in South Africa. I ask because I checked my phone yesterday and it said mine was a mere 346 steps! How about you guys?

I live in a house and have three children, so I'm quite busy with housework, homeschooling and home office. It's 1 pm at my place now and I have currently 2.918 steps which is really almost nothing compared to a normal pre-lockdown day, where I take 1.000 steps before even my kids leave for school. My average for the last 7 days is 8.227 steps. That's because I don't always wear my watch or carry my phone around and not all steps are recorded. Therefore my lowest number of steps recorded since the start of the lockdown were 4916 steps. In general, I take between 7500 to 10.000 steps per day in this time of lockdown.

Here in Russia we must stay at home, we can go only in the closest moll near a house or walk with a dog in only 100 meters from home. Before quarantine i have 10 000 steps every day. Now it's 1000 and lower :(. I walk just near my window

Here in Ireland we can walk up to 2 km from home, so I manage to do an average of 14.000 steps p day. Yesterday I did 20 K steps.
