Why do people write poems?
There are a lot of poems on the world. Written by people of all ages and all nationalities. What do you think is the need of their works? What are the reasons of writing poems?

Poems have beauty. These have similies, rhythm and rhymes and please our aesthetic sense.

The poet is a artist like some others artists. They show the handsomeness with his words. The poems are the art of poets.

it's for expressing themselves, i think just like a book there are many ways for you to 'say' your emotions, etc.
