Grammar in Swahili language heavily relies on correct use of noun groups. A specific root syllable is used for each group and from it, sentences can be made. Mastering this is the key to unlocking Swahili.
Hi Nevin,
I'll provide a simplified list soon here http://ojobz.com/swahili-class/
I'll let you know once done, but follow the link in the meantime. You'll find lots of helpful resources.
I have been studying the noun classes in Kiswahili for a while and there is certainly lots to learn! I'd really appreciate a sheet that outlines everything about noun classes, something like the one in this Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiswahili#Concord -- but much less confusing! Do you know of one?
Asante!
